THE BIG REST WITH NEAL GHOSHAL

  • Yoga Ground 56 Surrey Crescent Grey Lynn, Auckland, 1021 New Zealand (map)

This afternoon offers a wonderful opportunity to retreat, allowing yourself to relax deeply and engage in nurturing and compassionate rest. We will explore some of the foundational principles behind Restorative Yoga including:

  • Yielding towards the earth - an active and conscious softening of the body.

  • Finding optimal breath support.

  • Using props such as blankets, cushions, and bolsters to provide profound support and exceptional comfort.

  • Learning to Be, and coming to experience Being as our natural home ground.

This experiential workshop will include iRest® Yoga Nidra Meditation as well as Restorative Yoga. Open to all levels – students, teachers, and anyone interested in Yoga, meditation, kindness and self-care.

"I have been offering The Big Relax on Waiheke Island where I live for many years, and I am so excited to be bringing it to Auckland and the beautiful Yoga Ground."

What to bring?
As this is a Restorative Yoga workshop, Neal asks that you bring some extra props for this afternoon. We have enough blankets at Yoga Ground for 2-3 each and also one bolster each. If you can please bring up to 2-3 blankets (or more!), a couple of extra cushions (such as you may have at home on a sofa), and if you have a bolster bring that, and a soft scarf for covering eyes.

Investment: $49
