Whether you're brand new to yoga or it's been a while since you last stepped onto the mat, this 2-hour Yoga Foundations workshop is a gentle invitation to learn the foundations of the Yoga practice.
Together we'll explore the basic postures and breathing techniques of yoga at a relaxed pace, with time to break down poses and ask questions in a supportive, welcoming space.
This workshop is all about building confidence, moving mindfully, and discovering that yoga is for every body. You'll leave feeling refreshed, empowered, and ready to enjoy your practice with greater ease and confidence.
You don’t need any equipment or fancy clothes for this workshop. We have all the things you need including a mat. Though if you prefer to bring your own you are very welcome. You just need to wear some comffortable clothes that you can move around in freely and bring a water bottle.

About your teacher, Clare Roberts
Clare has been teaching at Yoga Ground since 2014 and loves introducing people to yoga in a way that feels welcoming, supportive, and accessible. With a calm, encouraging approach, she creates a space where beginners can learn at their own pace, ask questions, and build confidence in both movement and breath.
Alongside her yoga teaching, Clare is an Occupational Therapist with postgraduate qualifications in musculoskeletal management and a background in the fitness industry. She began teaching yoga in 2012 and has completed numerous courses and workshops in Yoga and Yoga Therapy.
Whether you're completely new to yoga or returning after a break, you're in experienced and caring hands. Clare's goal is to help you feel comfortable, connected, and confident as you begin, or rediscover, your yoga journey.
