Level 2 Studio Protocols
We are delighted to have you back in the studio but there are some guidelines we need to adhere to, to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone.
Please take some time to familiarise yourself with the information below before coming to class.
1. REDUCED CLASS SIZES
To enable you to adhere to social distancing and continue to practice safely in the studio we have reduced class sizes. Please place your mat in line with the floor markings which are in place to allow for the new 2m distancing rule in health & fitness facilities.
2. MASKS
Please wear a mask when arriving, leaving and moving around the studio. You may remove it to practice once on your mat. Please also practice social distancing when moving around the studio and communal areas.
3. BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL
Please book classes online and cancel at least 3 hrs in advance, to allow others to practice and avoid being charged our $10 late cancellation fee. We will be avoiding the use of the EFTPOS machine in the studio so please purchase a pass and book in advance.
4. CONTACT DETAILS & COVID APP
It is mandatory for you to scan the QR code at the door to register your visit via the NZ Covid Tracer app. Please make sure your contact details are up to date in Mindbody including email address and mobile number. This is part of our contact tracing requirements.
5. HAND SANITISATION
Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before and after class or use the hand sanitiser provided.
6. FEELING UNWELL?
Do not come to class if you feel unwell. Anyone showing symptoms similar to those of COVID-19 will not be allowed to practice/asked to leave but please avoid putting your fellow yogis at risk and your teacher in an awkward situation of needing to address this.
7. MATS
You are invited to bring your own mat. If it is necessary to borrow a mat please ask your teacher and follow their instructions for appropriate cleaning.
8. PROPS
Classes will be taught without the need for props. If you wish to use props please bring your own or wipe down the studio ones after use. You should bring a towel for use on bolsters.
9. BLANKETS
Please bring your own blankets or a towel to place on the studio ones. We would encourage you to bring warm layers so you can be cozy when in seated postures and when lying down.
10. ADJUSTMENTS
Teachers will not give hands on adjustments.
