SOUND JOURNEY WITH SUZI & CHERYL

  • Yoga Ground 56 Surrey Crescent Grey Lynn, Auckland, 1021 New Zealand (map)

Join Kundalini Yoga teacher Suzi Jowsey and sound/meditation practitioner Cheryl Farthing for an evening of relaxation and transformative healing through divine sound. Now is the time to let go and be immersed in exquisite sound vibrations, fine-tuned to activate deep healing and release of all that does not serve us. We begin the gentle pranayama and a little movement (no experience required), then you simply lie back to be bathed in the healing vibrational sounds of the sun gong, crystal singing bowls, chimes and primal shamanic instruments.

YOUR HOSTS

Suzi and Cheryl harmonise their practices on this special night to offer a powerful tool for personal transformation and healing. Suzi began her spiritual journey with Kundalini Yoga and Meditation (an ancient Raja/Kriya based practice involving breath, movement and mantra) back in the mid 90s with UK based teacher Guru Dharam. Still training with him when she can, Suzi attributes much of her success as a writer and documentary film maker to the practice, and nowadays shares its magic as a teacher.

Cheryl began her healing journey with sound and mediation18 years ago to help calm her son, born with complex medical issues. She then expanded this interest using Tibetan singing bowls and chanting with other disabled children in Yoga sessions, with the healing effects being profound. Seven years ago she began her love affair with remarkable Crystal Tones Alchemy Bowls infused with magical mixes of gemstones, minerals and precious metals. Her intention being to create mystic soundscapes that melt away stress and anxiety and guide people into the deepest state of rest and bliss.
