Have you always wanted to try yoga and meditation but don't want to commit to a full course of both, in case its not for you?  Well here is a solution!  

Beginners Yoga + Meditation Sampler Course

This 8-week course is the perfect introduction to yoga and meditation - you get to try different types of yoga, dip your foot into meditation, and meet and experience the different styles of our teachers.

Weeks 1 - 4:

We will cover the principles of yoga, the asana (postures), and the breathing techniques; introducing you to this wonderful, life-changing practice that has so many physical and mental benefits.  This will be a condensed version of our 8-week Introduction to Yoga Courses.

Weeks 5 & 6:

In these two weeks you will experience both a Yin Yoga class and a Yoga Nidra class.  Yin is a non-dynamic, mostly floor-based practice that involves holding postures for longer time periods.  Yoga Nidra means yogic sleep, and is a form of guided meditation.  You will float home after this last class!

Weeks 7 & 8:

In the last two weeks you will receive a basic introduction to meditation.  You will learn about mindfulness and practice simple meditation techniques that you can apply to daily life.  This is practice is wonderfully complementary to your yoga.

We hope that this course will be really helpful for those that are new to the practice and will help build the confidence to attend and enjoy the range of open classes on offer on our timetable.
