Pregnancy and the pathway to motherhood is a very sacred and life-changing experience. Practicing yoga while you are pregnant is wonderful for the well-being of both you and your developing baby. Yoga promotes relaxation and stress management, improves overall circulation, enhances posture and can help alleviate some of the discomforts of pregnancy and birth.
This course is designed for all Yogis, including beginners and suitable for anyone who is 12 +weeks pregnant.
During this course you will learn to tune into your body's natural instincts and how to modify certain yoga poses according to your unique pregnancy experience. The classes will be a time to practice gentle yoga but also provide opportunities to enable you to feel strong and empowered within yourself.
About your teacher:
Skye has 200hr teacher training as well as her 85 hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher training which she completed at Elemental Yoga School in Bali. She is a neonatal nurse and a doula and it was this path that then led to her interest in prenatal yoga.
For me prenatal yoga is about holding space for women to deeply connect to themselves, their baby and to the nurturing forces of nature. My relaxing yin classes combine a short meditation along with asana to create a unique energy experience to be felt.oga
Following a class I enjoy having the opportunity to connect with women over a cup of tea and absolutely love meeting new people.
